Every month I send out an update with helpful advice for small businesses. Last month I asked my subscribers to answer a survey about their social media plans for 2014.
The answers, although not surprising, confirm that small businesses are still behind the trending curve.
While 52% of the businesses said they’ll invest more time on Facebook in 2014 (it should’ve been done last year), 76% of them said they only spend 2-4 hours a week managing their pages (which we know it is not nearly enough to keep up with everything).
On the bright side, 52% of the respondents said they want to be more relevant online in 2014 and 24% of them will be including social media on their marketing plans.
